Children’s courses - Prague City Golf

Golf is no longer the sport of a select few and we are very happy that, especially in the last few years, the public’s interest in this beautiful sport has been growing. As part of the Prague City Golf Academy, we organize beginner courses for children and adults. We are rightly proud of our cooperation with the city districts, where within the framework of the With a golf school or Golf for 16 projects, we enable all those interested to start playing golf, not only from the immediate vicinity of our course.

KIDS GOLF COURSES: SPRING 2024
Join us and play golf with us! For the new spring season of 2024, we are listing children’s courses in all our campuses,
from April to June. Courses are the same for all campuses,
the training times are also the same.

12 or 24 (Plus program) training units
We emphasize the quality of teaching and the maximum effectiveness of training.
There is always a maximum of 5 children per 1 trainer in one training group.
The duration of the training is 85 minutes.
In one training unit, we practice several movement patterns with the children.
We normally operate even during the winter season, we move classes to nearby indoor spaces (depending on the choice of campus).
In the Prague City Golf resorts, we use the area according to the possibilities
in addition to the main driving range, the warm-up zone and the surrounding chipping greens.

STARTER / STARTER PLUS

Starter: 85 minutes / 1x per week – CZK 5,900
Starter plus: 85 minutes / 2 times a week – CZK 9,900
Performance: program designed for beginners and intermediate (HCP: BEZ – 45)
Age: 5-9 years
Number of children in the group: max 4-5
Practices: Monday and Wednesday
Training time: 15:30 – 16:55

Golf program for the smallest and beginning golfers

The goal of the STARTER training group is to acquaint children with the basics of golf motor skills, which include correct club holding, golf stance, the basics of putting and chipping, familiarization with the principle of the game on the putting course, where we teach children the basic golf rules and etiquette. We supplement the training with basic movement games and coordination exercises, which are the most important component of healthy motor development at this age.

DRIVER / DRIVER PLUS

Driver: 85 minutes / 1x per week CZK 5,900
Driver plus: 85 minutes / 2 times a week – CZK 9,900
Performance: program designed for beginners and intermediate (HCP: BEZ – 45)
Age: 9-16 years
Number of children in the group: max 4-5
Practices: Monday to Thursday
Training time: 15:30 – 16:55

Program for older, beginning golfers

Driver is a training group for beginners and intermediates aged 9 and up. In training, we develop the basics of golf, i.e. stabilization of golf technique and full swing, technical variants of the short game, pace and rhythm, reading the terrain, strategy and tactics of the game. We also supplement the training with basic movement games and coordination exercises, which are the most important component of healthy motor development at this age.

GOLFER / GOLFER PLUS

Golfer: 85 minutes / 1x per week – CZK 8,490
Golfer plus: 85 minutes / 2 times a week – CZK 14,900
Performance: program designed for advanced players (HCP: 25-45)
Age: 9-16 years
Number of children in the group: max 4-5
Trainings: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Training time: 5:00 PM – 6:25 PM

Program for more advanced children who already have golf basics

The GOLFER training group is intended for players who already have basic golf abilities and skills (min. HCP 54) and have the ambition to devote themselves to golf fully. The emphasis is mainly on the perception of game situations and the possibility of solving them. Players are encouraged to actively participate in regional children’s tournaments organized by the Czech Golf Federation. At this level, we recommend the PLUS variant, which includes training 2 times a week

MASTER / MASTER PLUS

Master: 85 minutes / 1x per week – CZK 8,490 (includes green fee on the championship course)
Master plus: 85 minutes / 2 times a week – CZK 14,900
Performance: a program designed for performance players (HCP 20 and below)
Age: 9-16 years
Number of children in the group: max 4-5
Practices: Monday to Thursday
Training Time: 5:00 PM – 6:25 PM

A program for more advanced kids who already have the basics of golf

The aim of the program is to prepare players technically, tactically and psychologically for competitive golf. In training, in addition to honing the technique itself, we try to exert similar pressure on the players as they encounter on the field – this is the only way we can prepare the players for situations that may arise during the tournament. The players are guided to record training and game statistics in the TCM system, which are then evaluated together with the coaches. At this level, we recommend the PLUS variant, which includes training 2 times a week.

Possibility of purchasing an annual playing green fee for the Vinoř and Zbraslav championship courses for CZK 7,500 per year (valid for academy players with HCP 54 and below)
